How to Set Up Scroll Depth Events in Google Tag Manager
Check Built-In Variables
1. Configure Scroll Depth Threshold, Scroll Depth Unit, Scroll Depth Direction
2. Go to your Google Tag Manager Account, and configure events from Variable Tab, where you can see all the current Built in Variables and can allow new variables

Create a New Tag and Choose GA4 Event
3. Go to the Tags Menu, where you can see all the current Tags. Click on new button to create a new Tag.
Now the process might look tricky with loads of variables, however, you can follow through and set the tag successfully.
In the variables also add GA4ID and then when creating a tag, select the Measurement ID
Then create a unique name for your event that you will be able to see in your Google Analytics Tab
Then Configure Event Parameters to have name and a value, which is a unique name you give for scroll depth threshold value. This value is what will be used whilst setting trigger
Also, under advanced setting set the Tag firing option as once per page (this insures that …..)

Now the important step -
Set Up Triggers

Set up the trigger, Add a new trigger, and set the triggering logic, Put trigger type as scroll depth and set vertical scroll percentage as 75%
And save and publish your changes
So… you are 88% done.
Now you need to understand how to view this data for this particular event on your google analytics dashboard.
View Data In GA4
Go to reports section in GA, and under Lifecycle / Engagement / Events you can view all your events
And in Lifecycle / Engagement / Pages and Screens you can view the scroll event data per page.
by following these steps.
